Cancellation & Refunds If you need to change the date of your pre-booked tour we do ask for at least seven days notice so that we have the opportunity to re-book your slot. There is no additional charge for changing the date of your tour. If you give us less than 7 days notice and we cannot resell the slot we reserve the right to charge a 50% re-booking fee. We do not offer refunds on pre-booked tours.

Weather As an outdoor activity eBike Touring can be affected by the weather conditions so It is always worth checking the weather forecast prior to your tour so you wear appropriate clothing for the conditions. As a general rule we will not cancel any eBike tours based on the weather unless the conditions are so extreme they are not safe for cycling. We use the Met Office to monitor if any severe weather warnings are expected.

Participants The eBike tours have been designed for all adults of any fitness level but as they are classed as "powered" transportation current UK Law means we cannot take bookings that includes anybody under 14 years old. At least one person per booking must be aged 18 or over and any persons under 18 years old must be clearly identified on the online booking form and should have a guardian with them. Our eBikes are also only suitable for carrying up to 135kgs to include baggage so we regret that we also cannot offer tours to anybody weighing over 135 kgs.

Payment In order to book a tour payment must be made in advance by credit or debit card

Proof of Identity An eBike is an expensive piece of equipment so before your tour can commence we need to see a valid Photo ID as proof of your identity such as a Passport or Drivers License which we will hold for the duration of the tour

Damage to the eBike Our eBikes are durable but if you had a crash or damaged the bike you would be responsible for the costs involved unless you have taken out our PeakePedals Damage Waiver (which is available to each participant at a small additional cost).

Theft & Insurance All tour participants are responsible for the security of the eBike during their tour.

Damage to Third Parties You should make sure you have the appropriate travel insurance in place in case you cause injury to other people or damage to property.

Safety Every tour participant will be supplied with a UK approved cycling helmet as part of their tour which must be worn at all times when using your eBike.

COACH HOUSE ETIQUETTE

USEFUL INFO

We are dedicated to ensuring that the Coach House is a place free from the disruptions of modern life and our wellness environment is one of tranquillity and relaxation. In consideration to other guests, please keep conversations to a minimum and switch off mobile phones.

OPENING TIMES 

Wellness treatments are available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. However, we will always attempt to accommodate in-house guests that require treatment, outside of these hours, provided with sufficient notice. We recommend scheduling treatments well in advance to ensure availability and preferred appointment times.

ARRIVALS

For a more enjoyable wellness journey, you are invited to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to have consultation time with your therapist. As a courtesy to all our guests we do operate a prompt appointment schedule.

WHAT TO BRING

For your comfort, towels and robes are provided for use during your stay. Due to our sustainability policy, we do not provide single use flip flops or slippers within the Coach House but we recommend that guests bring their own flip flops for personal comfort, especially if using the outdoor cold plunge shower and sauna. Hotel guests are welcome to arrive in their bedroom robe. Please bring appropriate swimwear if you intend using the outdoor shower or sauna. Discreet disposable underwear is provided for all body treatments.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

For your convenience Wi-Fi and charging points are available in the Coach House, but we ask that you mute your electronic devices and refrain from taking calls. Filming and photography is not permitted in and around the changing areas. The use of electronic smoking devices is not permitted within any of the inside or outside spa areas and we operate a No Smoking policy throughout the Coach House and courtyard.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We appreciate that not everything goes to plan all of the time, and wherever possible we will do our utmost to accommodate your circumstances. However to avoid disappointment, please be aware of the following terms which apply to all Treatment and eBike bookings.

• We respectfully ask 72 hours’ notice to cancel appointments. 
• In the event of cancellation within 72 hours of the appointment or in the event of same day cancellation, full payment will be required.
• If the hotel is able to resell the treatment / bike rental slot, we will refund the full amount to the cardholder that made the original booking.
• A late arrival may mean that your treatment time is reduced or we are unable to honour your booking. Please note that in such cases, no refunds will be made.

MINORS

The minimum age for using the wellness centre is 16 years old. Younger children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Upon special request and under the supervision of a parent or guardian, we can accommodate treatments tailored to children below the age of 16.

HEALTH CONDITIONS

Kindly inform us of any allergies or injuries that may impact treatment experience. We will be happy to advise safe options. If medical conditions prevail, please consult with your GP before taking any treatment or using our sauna. It is the responsibility of the guest to advise the Coach House team of any serious medical conditions.

PREGNANCY

We have specially designed treatments for expectant and nursing mothers. Please allow our team to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable for you during this special time. We do not recommend you use the sauna during your pregnancy. If you are in any doubt about having a treatment during your pregnancy, please ensure you check with your GP prior to making your reservation

VALUABLES

We don't recommend wearing jewellery or other valuables during the wellness journey. If you need to store any valuables, you may leave them in the safety lockers in the changing room. The Coach House accepts no liability for lost or damaged items.

HEALTH & SAFETY

For Health and Safety reasons we may decide to restrict the use of our outdoor facilities due to adverse weather conditions. These along with any mechanical or electrical breakdowns on the premises are usually beyond our control, although we will try to reconvene services as soon as possible. No refunds will be given in any such instance unless any such breakdown is due to the negligence of the Coach House or its employees.

LIABILITY

The Wellness Team are qualified to perform the treatments listed. The Company will not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our guests, their property and belongings, unless it is solely due to negligence of the Company or its employees.
